Sheep die in ACT truck crash

Trucks have taken away at least 100 dead sheep after a triple-decker truck overturned in Canberra.

Firefighters worked with the ACT government's chief vet to free about 400 sheep.

But it is estimated at least 100 died.

The driver of the truck, which overturned at Conder outside the new ACT Fire and Rescue Station on Monday afternoon, was taken to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
