SES search for evidence in baby napping

State Emergency Service personnel have been scouring a rural road outside Canberra for evidence related to the alleged abduction of a toddler last week.

ACT Police said volunteers were searching along Macs Reef Road in NSW between the Federal Highway and Bungendore on Sunday, but declined to say what they were looking for.

The toddler was taken from a Canberra care home by an armed man and was found safe and well in bushland near Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast last Friday.
