Seven-year-old girl killed in two car crash in ACT overnight

A seven-year-old girl has been killed in a crash between a four-wheel-drive and a sedan in the ACT.
Police say there were notified of the collision between a Nissan Navara and a Nissan Pulsar at Page at about 7pm tonight.
It is believed the Navara was driving west on Southern Cross Drive when it collided with the Pulsar that was turning right into Chewings Street.
Ambulance officers treated the girl at the scene before she was taken to Calvary Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are looking into the incident and will prepare a report for the coroner.
The girl's death brings the road toll in the ACT to eight this year.
