A Canberran has woken up $35 million richer after scooping up Thursday night's entire Powerball prize pool.
But the winner, who purchased the unregistered ticket in the ACT, is still unknown and NSW Lotteries is urging locals to check their tickets and contact them soon.
"It's not a bad way to wake up on a Friday - someone has a ticket worth $35 million in their pocket," spokeswoman Belinda McDougall told AAP.
