Almost $2 billion worth of illicit drugs was taken off Australian streets by the Australian Crime Commission in the past year, according to its annual report.
Tabling the report in parliament on Wednesday, the commission says it disrupted 54 criminal entities, added 61 new targets to its criminal hit list and produced 79 intelligence reports on foreign fighters and counter-terrorism.
It made 194 arrests on 548 charges and seized almost $35 million in cash.
