Tasmania expected to get more federal funding with Abbott visit

Prime Minister Tony Abbott is due in Tasmania to announce more federal support for the island state.
The hot topic of Bass Strait freight subsidisation is expected to be on the agenda when Mr Abbott reaches Devonport today.

The prime minister will also open a Vodafone customer centre in Hobart.
