Prime Minister Tony Abbott is being blamed for a slump in voter support for the South Australian Liberals.
A Newspoll, published on Monday, shows the Liberal primary vote at 33 per cent compared with almost 45 per cent at the election about a year ago.
A state Liberal, in a text message to 891 ABC Adelaide, said: "Let me tell you, my federal colleagues and the PM are killing us. I seemingly get clobbered by Abbott everywhere I go."
