When Chris and Erin's twin boys were born three months early, they knew they'd be in for a long stint in hospital.

But after a midnight transfer, their tiny babies are now hours away from home.

"It just does not make sense to me to be transferred two hours away from the major city which has at least four children's hospitals, specific children's hospitals that they could potentially have housed our babies in," Erin said.

With no family support, Erin and Chris had been sleeping on a friend's blow up mattress, calling family with daily updates.

They're facing at least a month before the boys might be able to finally come home.
