What a US hearing revealed about claims of UFO secrets at the Pentagon
It might sound like science fiction, but a new UFO probe is being taken very seriously at the highest levels of the US government.
What we used to call UFOs are now called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), and a US Congressional hearing is investigation allegations of a major cover-up by US authorities including the Pentagon, the military and the CIA.
Republican Nancy Mace is chairing the US Congress hearing into UAPs and asking what is being kept secret.

"I'm not going to name names, but there are certain individuals who didn't want this hearing to happen, because they feared what might be disclosed," Mace told the hearing.
Since May last year there have been 757 new UAP reports investigated by the Pentagon.
Of those, 21 can't be rationally explained.
