The towns that are forever tied to tragedy

They're places that will be forever stamped into the history books for all the wrong reasons: communities where terrible things happened and the memory of them lives on.

Porepunkah in Victoria's alpine region is the latest one, following the horror deadly shooting of two police officers, allegedly by Dezi Freeman.

But despite the tragedies that happened there, families still call the tainted towns home.
