Sarah is a walking billboard for the injuries which can be caused by powered bikes.

She was run down by a Lime Bike while crossing tram tracks in Sydney's CBD and is still recovering from her injuries.

"I didn't even hear the bike. I could only hear the man's voice saying, "'Get out of the way.' And that's when I was hit," Sarah said.

"They broke my my elbow, and I had to get a plate and pins put into there. My foot was essentially crushed. I also retained a lot of damage to the skin, where I had to get skin grafts."
