'People are at their wits end about what to do': Teachers leaving profession in droves amid rise of violence
Teachers are leaving the profession in droves as allegations arise of abuse, abandonment and even assault along with the fight for better pay and support.
Following a spate of violent incidents in Aussie schools, A Current Affair put a call out to teachers to find out if they're leaving the classroom and saying goodbye to the profession they love.

"People are at their wits end about what to do," President of the Australian Primary Principals Association Angela Falkenberg said.
"I've had windows broken, chairs and tables overturned, I've had doors broken," former school teacher Rachel Johnson said.
