How Australia's most unlikely social media star found fame through fizzy drink

Rohit might be Australia's most unlikely social media star.
For the last four years, the Melbourne dad has collected more than 500,000 followers online with TikTok videos about beating his soft drink addiction.
To date, he's uploaded 1584 videos, all delivered with his trademark catch phrase "no fizzy drink for me today".

With a legion of fans keeping him accountable from the couch, it's helped him lose 20 kilograms.
And now those suffering from other addictions are turning to Rohit for a glass of inspiration.
"When I started posting videos, my aim was to get support from people, motivation from people," Rohit told A Current Affair.
