Peter Fox, heir to Linfox trucking empire, granted Queensland border ban exemption

The Fox family usually call Melbourne home and live in a Toorak mansion, valued at around $30million. But that home is undergoing major renovation.
The father-of-three has now moved his family 1700 kilometres away to a multi-million dollar mansion on Palm Beach, which they have leased since July 1.
Queensland borders to Victoria have been closed since late March. The only exemptions are essential health workers, people travelling on health, legal or compassionate grounds or truck drivers carrying freight.
Mr Fox has been cleared of any wrongdoing by police. He told A Current Affair reporter Dan Nolan he was exempt from the border restrictions because he was a truck driver, held a "multi-combination driver's licence" and had left Victoria by truck and recently moved trucks down from Cairns.
