Empty seats on flight home to Australia from the Middle East

With Australians still stranded in Dubai, many are asking why there were so many empty seats on a recent flight home.
Qantas told A Current Affair it is urgently looking into the cases A Current Affair has raised.
The airline says it's available 24/7 to manage customer flights booked on Emirates in and out of the Middle East. Wait times are currently short and they are available all weekend.
