The world said goodbye to Dame Olivia Newton-John two years ago, but her legacy lives on in the people who keep her cancer wellness centre alive.

On the eve of her annual charity walk, Olivia's Walk for Wellness, A Current Affair met doctors and researchers still working to make Olivia's dreams come true.

To date, $12 million dollars has been raised since the wellness walk started 11 years ago.

Funds have supported more than 30,000 cancer patients through Olivia's wellness programs at her cancer centre at Melbourne's Austin Hospital.

The walk kicks off on Sunday at The Tan, Alexandra Gardens in Melbourne.
