'She was my favourite thing about doing Grease'

Stars have been remembering Olivia Newton-John, who has died at the age of 73.

At an event for 40th anniversary of Grease in 2018, co-star John Travolta said she was his enduring memory of making the classic film.

"She was my favourite thing about doing Grease," he said.

"When I had the privilege to have input in the casting, I said, 'there is no other person in the universe other than Olivia Newton-John to play Sandy, you must cast her."

Olivia also reflected meeting John for the first time.

"They sent John to meet me and who could say no, right?" she said.

"This gorgeous guy walks up my driveway with his bright blue eyes and he was so sweet and melted me."

Everyone wanted to sing with Olivia.

From Cliff Richard and Elton John, to Barry Gibb and Kylie Minogue.

But one man, always brought her home; John Farnham.

"Which girl have you enjoyed singing with the most, and I want you to be really careful with your answer," she asked him during one show.

"You, undoubtedly," he replied.
