New plan to house growing number of women homeless and escaping DV

More women are becoming homeless and escaping domestic violence than ever before.

It's a shocking statistic but now a new initiative is making use of abandoned spaces to quickly make new homes for those in need.

A house that once housed the elderly is being transformed to create 28 rooms for women fleeing domestic violence and suffering homelessness in Sydney's south.
