Melbourne woman, 57-year-old Kara Pylka, was at the Hamilton premiere, snuck into the Marriott Bonvoy marquee at the Grand Prix and has rubbed shoulders with A-list celebrities at exclusive luncheons.

There's only one catch - she's never invited.

"On the way to an event, I think, 'I'm going to get in, I'm going to have a great time and that's what happens'. You put your thoughts out there to the universe and yeah it can happen," Ms Pylka revealed to A Current Affair.

The gatecrashing grandmother lives in St Kilda in Melbourne's inner east but she's met internationally renowned stars like Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, Margot Robbie and even the Hemsworth brothers.

"Lovely guys, they're really nice guys. Because they're from Phillip Island, they're surfies, you know, easy-going. They're down to earth guys, yeah, really nice, fun, guys," Ms Pylka said.

She was the envy of her sons when she managed to creep inside Snoop Dogg's Rod Laver Arena concert in 2006, even managing to hustle her way backstage after the set finished.

"I was there until two in the morning, so from 11 o'clock to two in the morning, photos with him and partying, you know," she said.

"My sons did not believe me, that I met him, because they're like 'how did you meet'? They had to go home by themselves, while their mum's partying with some rapper. Oh my god, that was funny."

Ms Pylka took her gatecrashing overseas when she walked several red carpets in London, attending the premieres for 12 Years a Slave and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The secret to her success is confidence.

She said she walks straight in like she was on the guest list all along.

One of her most recent escapades was in her hometown when she rope-skipped into the swanky Twilight Polo on St Kilda Beach in February.

"So, I just walked in with the horses ... and the horse owners and the polo riders."

Out of hundreds of selfies Ms Pylka has taken with celebrities over the years, one of her most prized ones is with Shane Warne at the polo, which was one of the last events the legendary cricketer attended.

"He said, 'you're a really beautiful woman', we were talking about families, not parties, he was a really lovely man."

Now, Ms Pylka is full of stories and is committed to creating even more memories.

"Maybe at the Channel Nine Logies after party," she said.
