‘I was just excited’: Aussie teenager reflects on Premier League debut

Then, in January this year, he transferred to the Colorado Rapids in the US.
Five months later Herrington was the youngest Socceroo ever to start in a World Cup.
So it’s no surprise the Premier League came calling and, at just 18, he made his debut for Hull City last weekend.
“I was just excited to be honest,” he said.
“I think Mum was more nervous in the crowd, but I was just excited.”
Herrington has signed a five-year contract with Hull City.
The deal is worth a reported $33 million, breaking the transfer record paid for an Aussie footballer.
