Sister of murdered woman decries system that sees her killer released again and again
The sister of a woman raped and murdered has decried the justice system that saw her killer released from prison again and again despite many parole breaches.
Jonathan Peter Bakewell stalked, raped and murdered Anne-Marie Culleton in 1984.
Bakewell was originally sentenced to prison for life in the Northern Territory.

But, after a 2004 legislation change, his sentence was redetermined to 25 years.
The following year, Bakewell applied to serve his time in South Australia to be closer to his family.
In February, he was freed on parole.

Bakewell has been granted parole six times, each time reoffending, mostly for drug abuse.
Now, it's been revealed Bakewell has allegedly breached his parole conditions again.
