"He seemed so interested in who I was and what my story was, and that caught me right there and then like, oh my God he's gonna help me," Lacerda told A Current Affair.
"He's gonna see that I am an immigrant from Brazil coming to America, having all these difficulties at home.
"He groomed me every day and I was just a part of his world."
