How Dean is flipping the script on cruel trolls

Dean Clifford has spent his entire life fighting to stay alive.

He has an incredibly rare condition that leaves his skin as fragile as tissue paper, breaking down with every passing day.

Dean came on A Current Affair after a picture of him and his mum at a Broncos game became a target for trolls.

The hate was so unbelievable, you’d think Dean would never want to enter a stadium again.

But now it’s Dean that’s having the last laugh.

“Once I realised how big it was getting I just sat back and thought, OK the options are to shut it all down, but that’s giving them the win, or let’s see if we can push the narrative into a more positive direction,” he said.
