Former A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw's cameo in Harry & Meghan documentary series

A Current Affair's former host Tracy Grimshaw managed to make the cut of the newly released Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan as the former royal couple came out swinging at the press.

More than halfway through the third episode, Grimshaw's voice could be heard in a flashback to the program's exclusive sit-down interview with Meghan's sister Samantha Markle.

Grimshaw was heard introducing an explosive interview with Samantha, who had slammed the couple ahead of their royal wedding in 2018.

"Some of the bride's family don't know yet if they'll be invited to Windsor Castle, including Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle, who's made plenty of her own headlines in the lead-up to the royal wedding," Grimshaw could be heard saying throughout the new Netflix documentary series.

"She probably thinks that I'm cashing in," Samantha told A Current Affair at the time.

"If I wanted to cash in, I would sue hundreds, even thousands of publications who did stories using my name that I was not paid for and I didn't do."

In the Harry & Meghan series, the couple accused the media of fuelling family scandals, claiming father Thomas Markle had staged photos of himself.

And while the royal family managed to avoid a right hook in the first three episodes, maybe that's yet to come next week, when the next three episodes do come out.
