Tomorrow marks 50 years since our televisions went from black and white to colour.
'C-Day' as it is known saw Aussies usher in a new colourful world of entertainment.
Colour tellies flew off the shelves, despite the cost, which was upwards of $1200 - equivalent to around $10,000 today.

"Once colour came in, I mean things happened," former tv presenter Patti Newton said.
"People wore blush and people had pink cheeks and people started wearing colourful clothes."
"People would say oh Patti you've got blue eyes. I never knew you had blue eyes."
