How Eric and Mary stayed together 75 years

On this day, 75 years ago, a young couple was getting all dressed up, but not for the Melbourne Cup.
It was their wedding day.
Now, at 100 and 101 years old, Eric and Mary Routley love is just as strong.
These love birds have notched up a wedding anniversary many could only dream of.
So what's the secret of staying together 75 years?
"You have your differences of opinion, so we decided we wouldn't stay there and argue, we'd separate, come back half an hour later and never discuss it again," Eric said.
At 100, Mary still likes a tipple after dinner.
But Eric is a lifelong teetotaler.
"Never drank, and I've never smoked, I couldn't see the sense in it," he said.
That never bothered Mary.
"I love Bailey's as much as I love Eric, so I can just wrap around it every night," she said.
