Ariele Apartments resident Chandler Baddeley was home when the three infectious NSW removalists began unpacking furniture at the Melbourne complex on July 8.

"I was very lucky I didn't get a positive test because I remember moving the furniture, giving them a hand," he told A Current Affair.

Mr Baddeley recalls none of the removalists - two of whom were unknowingly infectious - were wearing a mask and even helping them put a couch in the elevator as they were trying to get to a higher floor.
