Development for jockeys exposed breaching COVID-19 restrictions
There has been a development following A Current Affair's exclusive report which exposed two of Australia's top jockeys for breaching COVID-19 restrictions.
Hugh Bowman and James McDonald have now been fined after they were caught on camera in a Port Douglas pub competing in a toad racing event on day eight of a 14-day stay-at-home direction.

The jockeys were both subject to the order after riding at a Sydney race meeting a week earlier, amid rising COVID-19 cases.
After A Current Affair's report by Dan Nolan, Queensland Police issued Bowman and McDonald with a warning and told the jockeys to isolate in their hotel or leave the state.
But Racing NSW stewards have taken a harsher approach after their investigation and have slapped both jockeys with $1000 fines.
