Christmas-loving retirees illuminate Sydney street with 30-year tradition
When December rolls around, you'll find Christmas loving Maltese migrants Joe and Carmen untangling the LED lights and dusting off the light-up reindeers in their Sydney front yard.
Since the early 90s, the couple has put an elaborate Christmas light display on show for their West Ryde street in the city's north west.
A retired forklift driver, Joe does the heavy lifting, while Carmen, a former Australia Post worker, delivers on a plan to spread joy, all while raising thousands for the Sydney Children's Hospital.

Now aged in their 80s, the couple have decided it's time to pack away the Christmas decorations for good.
