CCTV captures alleged catfishing scam victim prowling around Sophie Monk's house

TV star Sophie Monk said she will find it hard to relax at home after CCTV captured an unsolicited night visit from a man who knocked on her doors, peered through her windows and prowled around her garden.

Vision obtained by A Current Affair and New South Wales Police shows 49-year-old Brian Rapley pulling up to Monk's home in his car at 7:30 am on Anzac Day and again 12 hours later.

The disturbing CCTV shows Rapley placing a red rose at Monk's front door in the morning and then removing it when he returned shirtless later that evening.

Rapley was surrounded by police, who've now taken out an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against him on Monk's behalf.

Rapley was in no mood to speak about the situation when A Current Affair approached him.

"Get the f--k away from me," Rapley said.

Earlier, Rapley had hinted he was a victim of catfishing scam and was lured to Monk's property by an online impostor.

When asked if he was a stalker, Rapley replied: "Get out of my face."

Monk was not home at the time because she was filming a zombie movie on the Gold Coast with American rapper Vanilla Ice.

The happily married star has been a victim of unwanted attention from men in the past and gave a statement to police.

"Behaviour like Rapley's makes me feel scared and anxious. The fact that he was waiting at my house for 12 hours and left a strange gift is very worrying," she said.

A Current Affair understands Rapley also visited Monk's manager at his apartment looking for the dating show host.

When asked if he was upset at the loss of potential love Rapley replied: "F--k off."
