Queensland Premier hopes new Olympics plan will transform sport in the Sunshine state

After four years of false starts, political indecision and public disappointment, Brisbane finally has a blueprint for the 2032 Olympic Games.

Queensland's bold new plan for the games includes the construction of a new stadium and upgrades to a series of existing venues.

Premier David Crisafulli told A Current Affair he hopes the "generational infrastructure" promised today will provide a new future for sport in the Sunshine State.
