Australia Day bogans

There’s nothing wrong with letting your hair down on Australia Day with a couple of drinks.
But these self-confessed “proud bogans” take the partying to an extreme.

We want to see Victorians enjoy themselves safely and responsibly over the Australia Day long weekend, so Victoria Police is focusing on anti-social behaviour, violence, and drink and drug driving.
Excessive drinking can lead to serious consequences, including violent crime, serious assaults, anti-social behaviour and road trauma.
Police have a zero tolerance for any behaviour that puts the safety of others at risk and you will be arrested and held to account if you break the law.
