Apology to Mr Grant Lyall Morris
On 21 and 22 November 2022, A Current Affair published a promotion for a report concerning the historical poor treatment of children by a number of men (Promotion). The Promotion inadvertently included an image of Mr Morris.
A Current Affair accepts that Mr Morris was and is not involved in the subject matter of the Promotion and acknowledges that the mistaken inclusion of his image in the Promotion caused Mr Morris and his family a great deal of distress. A Current Affair sincerely apologises to Mr Morris and his family.
To the extent that any viewer suspected, by reason of Mr Morris' image being included in the Promotion, that he was involved in any untoward behaviour, A Current Affair unequivocally retracts such an allegation about Mr Morris, which is untrue.
