A series of AI-generated social media jests depicting the American people and their leaders working on mass production lines in factories has been gaining attention online.
Chinese suppliers are also getting in on the act, taking the fight straight to the US consumer on TikTok.

The video platform has been flooded with videos of Chinese suppliers reaching out to American customers directly - in turn exposing Western brands over how much they charge their customers.
And it's not just China using social media to put a mirror up to Trump and his tariffs.
