Lambo-loving billionaire Adrian Portelli takes to Sydney streets for eye-watering grocery giveaway

A Current Affair first met Adrian Portelli after he craned a $3 million McLaren into the living room of his $39 million Melbourne apartment.

It was The Block however, which lifted him into Aussie homes, after he purchased several properties in TV auctions gone past then bough buying out all five homes this year.

Behind the scenes, it's his social media and online marketing company where he pulls in the big bucks.

Portelli reels in subscribers with online giveaways offering life-changing prizes.

But today, the Lambo-loving billionaire took to the streets of western Sydney to hand out $150,000 worth of grocery vouchers to anyone in line at two stores.

"I'm from a working class family... It's the least we can do," Portelli said.

"I always said if I was in this position I'd help as many people as I can."

Supermarket giant Coles had to call in extra staff, shopping centres brought in security and the state brought in police to maintain order.
