Statement from City of Canterbury-Bankstown spokesman

Parking restriction signs (for between 1am-11am on bin emptying night) are installed in locations where bin emptying is difficult for our trucks, due to the number of vehicles being parked in the street.  These are only installed after impacted residents are informed (see copy of letter which was distributed to each household in Cherie Place on 5 March 2019) and it has been approved by the local Traffic Committee, which includes Police.
