9NEWS Brisbane sing up a storm for Nova’s Lip Sync Challenge
The Channel 9 Brisbane newsroom has gotten its groove on for Nova 106.9’s TGIT Lip Sync Challenge.
Taking on Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling, news reporters and staff from Nine’s Brisbane studios have showcased their spectacular miming skills.
Presenter Melissa Downes also took part, breaking into song in the office.
Downes then guides viewers through the newsroom and past singing and dancing staff members to the studio.
There she meets energetic anchor Andrew Lofthouse, who grabs a banana as a temporary microphone to assist him with singing duties.
The impromptu music video ends with Lofthouse and Downes bopping along beside an autocue, while sports presenter Sam Squiers shows off some smooth moves from behind the news desk.
