A learner driver has allegedly been twice caught behind the wheel on the same day his licence was suspended for speeding in NSW.

The 24-year-old from Victoria was clocked doing 165km/h in a 110km/h zone on the Hume Highway at Jugiong about 6am on Thursday.

He was immediately suspended from driving for six months and slapped with $3369 worth of fines for speeding, not showing L plates and being an unaccompanied learner.

A short time later, he was spotted driving again and given a notice to attend court next month.

Undeterred, he continued on driving to Gundagai, where he was stopped by police and arrested after being verbally aggressive, police allege.

He's been charged with driving while suspended.
