The town of Lake Conjola represents a lot of communities around Australia where fire came fast, unexpected and destroyed far more than was predicted. Reporter Tara Brown reflects on meeting Paul and Marilyn, who had no choice but to flee and drive through a searing and terrifying tunnel of fire. Their home and meticulous gardens of 15 years are now a ravaged mess.
