Never-before-seen CCTV footage provides vital clues into death of young Australian in Bali villa
When things go wrong in Bali, they can go horribly wrong.
Byron Haddow is a harrowing example of that. The 23-year-old died mysteriously in a pool after partying all night with three new friends.
Byron's devastated parents Chantal and Robbie Haddow told 60 Minutes they were desperate to uncover the truth about what happened to their son.

"We want to grieve," Robbie told reporter Adam Hegarty.
"We need to rebuild our life. We can't do that until we get answers."
The vital clues about Byron's final hours alive in Bali lie in never before seen security vision obtained by 60 Minutes.
The CCTV captured on May 26 shows Byron partying with an acquaintance, Bailey Woods, as well as two young Australian women, Kristy Pepperell and Jade Lucas, that the pair had met earlier at a tattoo parlour.
The vision also shows the aftermath of Byron ending up dead in the pool, and the actions of the three Australian witnesses.

"I've had sleepless nights with the headphones and the laptop going over and over each file. Every time I listen to it, I pick up something else," Robbie said.
But what disappoints Byron's parents more than anything is that apart from brief conversations with Bailey, the three Australians haven't given them a thorough explanation of what happened to their son that morning.
It's a fair request considering Chantal and Robbie are desperate for any small piece of information - a comfort to ease their grief.
"Just, yeah, speak up. Tell the truth," Chantal said.
"You're back home in Australia now. Like one of you three pick the phone up," Robbie said.

Given their likely distress about what happened, Bailey, Kristy and Jade declined 60 Minutes' requests for an interview.
Robbie and Chantal know the message of Byron's tragic story is to urge young people travelling overseas to stay safe.
"Travel with close mates, family, stay as a group. And avoid taking drugs," Robbie said.
