60 Minutes crew 'in good spirits'

The 60 Minutes crew detained in Lebanon over a botched child recovery operation are in good spirits and coping very well, the Nine Network says.

Journalist Tara Brown and her crew Stephen Rice, Benjamin Williamson and David Ballment, along with Brisbane mother Sally Faulkner, have been behind bars in Beirut for 11 days as they face kidnapping charges.

"Every possible effort is being made to ensure our team's wellbeing as they go through the legal process," reporter Ross Coulthart said on Sunday night.

"We are working relentlessly to bring them home and we acknowledge the strong support of their families in helping us do that."

Mr Coulthart said it was a nerve-wracking time for all of those detained as well as their families waiting at home.

"We've been doing our very best to keep them informed of every development," he said.

"The Nine Network is very grateful to the authorities in Lebanon for the respect shown to our crew, and we acknowledge the untiring efforts of diplomatic staff in Beirut and in Canberra."
