Authorities have seized more than $580 million worth of drugs and assets in one of Australia's "most successful" money laundering investigations.

Results of the 12-month national task force, called Eligo, that targeted serious and organised crime will be revealed by federal Justice Minister Michael Keenan in Sydney on Thursday.

The minister is expected to detail money laundering methodologies uncovered by the joint-agency sting, which brought together investigators from the Australian Federal Police, Australian Crime Commission and the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre.
