$250m for energy-efficient housing

The federal government is set to provide $250 million in loans for energy-efficient public housing projects.
The Clean Energy Finance Corporation will put up the money for 1000 homes for low-income earners, Environment Minister Greg Hunt told ABC Radio on Tuesday.
Community housing providers will be able to access money to retrofit old buildings.
