20-year-old stabbed to death in Cessnock

A man has been stabbed to death in the NSW Hunter region.

Police were called in after the 20-year-old showed up at Cessnock District Hospital on Friday night with stab wounds.

The Cessnock man died a short time later.

Officers arrived to break up a brawl in the car park outside, where they found another 20-year-old with a minor stab wound to his arm.

A third man, also 20, was later arrested at a home in Cessnock and is being questioned by police.
