Croc handler turns his back on massive saltie to propose

It's rare that romance and danger are combined quite like this.

A keeper at the Australian Reptile Park near Sydney has invited his girlfriend into the crocodile pen to propose to her.

Billy Collett turned his back on a 4.5m saltwater crocodile called Elvis so he could drop to one knee to pop the question to Siobhan Oxley.

"Three years ago, next week, I actually met the girl of my dreams; the girl I love more than anything," Mr Collett said.

The crowd weren't the only ones whose jaws dropped, with Elvis' mouth agape at the romantic moment.

Of course, Ms Oxley said yes.
